Rapture presents the Scottish premiere of this classic thriller by horror writer Stephen King.

Perhaps best known from the Oscar winning movie starring Kathy Bates and James Cann, Misery, is a masterpiece of suspense.

Paul Sheldon is a successful writer of romantic fiction novels, which feature beautiful heroine Misery Chastain. A tragic road accident delivers him into the hands of his “number one fan”, Annie Wilkes, who lives in a remote farmhouse. While recovering under her care, Sheldon continues to write, but when Annie finds that he has killed off Misery, Annie’s favourite character, things take a sinister turn for the worse.
